Could you lead, shape and inspire PETA Limited to even greater success?

Our longstanding CEO is retiring after many successful years and we are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead, shape and inspire our highly successful organisation.

As an employer led organisation and an Ofsted-assured ‘Good’ training provider, with many strengths, and an excellent reputation for the delivery of apprenticeships and corporate training, we are an impressive company in every respect, yet we won’t rest on our laurels as we strive to become ‘Outstanding’ in everything we do.

We are at the heart of our local business community serving the Solent and surrounding travel to work areas.  We are financially robust, and keen to continue to build on our reputation, working with our 300 member companies, stakeholders and committed partners.

You will be an ambitious senior leader, ready and capable of leading the company through the next stage of its evolution, navigating its many challenges, some known, others unknown.  You may be a CEO already, keen to run an established and market leading training organisation or an aspirational senior manager, ready for your next move and keen to use your influence in shaping strategies and plans to support the Company’s mission and long-term direction.

In return, we offer a progressive, market rate salary package, a supportive and committed Board of Directors, underpinned by superb staff and excellent estates and working environments.

Note:  A telephone call can be arranged with the retiring CEO, Bob Hiskey, for interested candidates.  This can be arranged through his PA Sarah Duffett.

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proven track record in senior management and leadership
  • Sound financial management experience
  • Good commercial business acumen to deliver cost effective services
  • Numerate, with well-developed analytical and problem solving-skills
  • Experience in managing change and responding to critical events
  • Excellent communication skills; presentation, written and verbal
  • Full driving licence
  • This role is subject to a DBS check.

  • Experience of working with Government Funded contracts
  • Good understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards
  • Experience of working in a learning environment
