Care Management Group drive up quality at PETA

One of the outcomes of the CMG Driving Up Quality Workshop was discovering the demand for more deaf clubs, as one group from the event demonstrates.

Care Management Group (CMG) ran their Driving Up Quality Workshop, for their services in The New Forest, at PETA's Management Training and Conference Centre in North Harbour on Thursday 13 October 2016.

Established in 1994 by a parent of a person with learning disabilities, their ethos has always been that the people they support and their families are at the heart of their organisation.

They have significant expertise in supporting people with particularly complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities and associated complex health needs.

Their personalised services include supporting living, residential care, outreach and home support and day services.

CMG always endeavour to be at the forefront of national best practice and works tirelessly to give service users every opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Sue Pym, Marketing and Events Manager from Care Management Group said “We’re running our Driving up Quality workshops, giving information to people we support. The workshops cover areas such as Relationships, Being Out and About, Coping with Emotions, Gaining Employment and Being Healthy. PETA have been very accommodating providing extra space for our disabled delegates to change and move around the building. The venue is great - it looks fabulous and has great facilities. I was delighted with the IT support and a laptop had already been set up for me, to make preparation easier and, of course the catering looks superb!”

PETA is looking forward to welcoming Care Management Group to many more successful events in the future and to supporting them as they drive up quality!
