Project Griffin - terrorism awareness ... be aware, be prepared

Many people in business and communities have been impacted by acts of terrorism that they would never have imagined could have happened.  Thankfully, these events occur rarely.

Education is a vital preventative measure, and Project Griffin the national counter terrorism awareness initiative, driven by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office, is aimed at educating people to help protect our cities and communities from the threat of terrorism.

PETA welcomes Tom Tobin M.A., Counter Terrorism Security Adviser from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit, who will share with us the:

  • Threats; sources and methods of attack
  • What to do should an attack occur
  • National Security strategies aimed at reducing terrorism
  • Recognising and reporting suspicious activity/items
