RioMed’s Customer Service Team spans three continents, all our support staff are required to work with each other across 3 time zones and also interact with our project management team and in-house IT department to manage the day-to-day queries and user testing process, providing oversight both internally and on behalf of our customers.

Duties will include:

  • Diary management – arranging meetings and conference calls with clients in the UK and Worldwide
  • Travel Arrangements: Arranging flights, hotels, car hire
  • Assisting with internal audits as required
  • Organising and minute taking for internal meetings including timely dissemination of actions
  • Liaising with overseas staff members
  • Organising and submitting expenses on behalf of the Customer Service Team to the finance administrator in a timely manner
  • Collate reporting on site and office activities
  • Responsible for filing and general office maintenance
  • Assisting in recruitment admin across the business
  • Research and development on new initiatives on an ad hoc basis as directed
  • Any other activities that help in the day to day running of the business

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint (an advantage)
  • In depth knowledge of using the Internet for research
  • Excellent letter writing skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • Knowledge of Data Protection  / confidentiality issues are desirable
  • Experience / understanding of the NHS is desirable
  • Customer Service experience (Call Centre or Retail) is desirable


Personal qualities

  • Demonstrates own initiative and takes guidance from staff
  • Ability to prioritise a varied and pressurised workload
  • Adaptability and willingness to assist as required


Qualifications required

  • Minimum 5 GCSE pass (C Grade or above) English and Maths essential


  • 20 days paid holiday and 8 statutory days holiday
