  • Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the estimating process for our clients is delivered to the highest standard and to set standards.  By following the company’s administration process and procedure you will be responsible for delivering each order project in a timely manner.

    With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry as well as providing Louvres, we also specialise in Solar Shading, Acoustics and Grilles . . .
  • ALPS are the main distributors for COLT products in England, Wales & the Channel Islands for Louvres, solar shading, acoustic louvres and grilles.  With our extensive technical expertise and experience in this complex industry we deal directly with building contractors, architects and consultants to offer design recommendations and value engineered solutions from initial enquiry through to full installation.

Duties will include:

  • Produce quotations for louvre products using the company templates and in line with the Sales Procedures
  • Produce quotations for solar shading products using the company templates and in line with the Sales Procedures
  • All quotations to be checked for accuracy
  • All quotations to be produced in line with the tender specifications
  • Any variations of changes to specifications must be clearly identified within the quotation
  • Quotation to be identified as being “to specification” or “proposed product” or alternative to specification
  • All customer deadlines to be met or return date improved
  • On larger identified projects the appropriate Salesperson is to be involved for their guidance/comments
  • Ensure the companies CRM package is maintained 100%
  • Ensure all relevant information relating to the quotation is entered in the appropriate fields within the CRM software
  • To demonstrate skill and exercise reasonable care in performance of all duties
  • To complete any other tasks required by the department and from time to time to cover for colleagues absence due to sickness or holidays

Skills required:

  • Must have excellent IT skills and the confidence to take on and use new systems
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Keyboard skills
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to follow and carry out simple instructions
  • Able to interact well with people and work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of MS Office desirable
  • Able to work under pressure and to agreed timescales

Qualifications required

  • GCSE English Grade C and above or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths Grade C and above or equivalent
  • GCSE ICT Grade D and above or equivalent
