An opportunity has arisen within an Accountancy organisation based in Fareham for an Apprentice to learn more about the industry and provide admin support for the Admin Manager.

Duties will include:

You will provide administrative support to your Admin Manager and colleagues along with various other administrative tasks.  You will learn about different aspects of accountancy and taxation as you progress such as filing obligations for businesses and individuals.  You will be expected to complete the Level 2 qualification within the advised timeframe as part of your Apprenticeship.  Opportunities for candidates can also include additional courses and training both in-house and externally enabling progression within the business.

  • Administration duties

  • Preparing reports
  • Dealing with the internal client management system
  • Working to deadlines for client data gathering
  • Data management
  • Electronic filing
  • Paper filing
  • Scanning

Skills required:

  • Must have excellent IT skills and the confidence to take on and use new systems

  • Able to follow and carry out simple instructions
  • Able to interact well with people and work as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and to agreed time scales

Qualifications required
  • GCSE Grade C or above in English Language, Mathematics and ICT or equivalent
