Duties will include:

Day to day activities within the Pricing team, including override and pricing data maintenance, and assistance with management, reconciliation and provision of support and advice to the business.

Undertake the day to day activities of the Pricing department in an accurate and timely manner.
Pro-actively engage with manufacturer key contacts.

Provide informed support and advice on all aspects of product, manufacturer and dealer terms, customer specific overrides and database pricing constituents.

Consistently deliver class leading analysis in a professional and innovative way.

Additionally, provide support for the company’s management, reconciliation, control and reporting of manufacturer VRB debt.

 

  • To update the Kestrel system with IFS specific and Customer specific bonus, discount and override data
  • To support management, Commercial, Sales, CRM, BI, IS, order, risk, customer services and quote teams in the review and control of all pricing constituents across the database.
  • To utilise analysis tools and techniques to measure data consistency across the database
  • To produce appropriate reports of the Key Performance Indicators
  • To ensure supporting documentation and files are maintained to satisfy audit
  • To support the Commercial team in manufacturer relationship meetings
  • Provision of operational and technical support to the business, prospects and clients.
  • To proactively identify operational issues and escalate to management to facilitate the development of process flows and work instructions.
  • To train colleagues, as appropriate to ensure skills are shared.
  • Prompt Investigation and Resolution of pricing queries
  • Investigation and Reconciliation of pricing queries
  • Undertake any additional agreed responsibilities as required.

 

  • Actively respond to generic mailbox queries and requests within agreed time scales.
  • Monthly reconciliation of VRB report
  • Ensure that the IFS ethos and policies are reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
  • Communicate regularly with the team, wider business and manufacturers, retailers and data suppliers, through formal and informal channels to ensure the free flow of ideas and key messages
  • To ensure that a customer focussed, high performance and high commitment is achieved and sustained throughout the team by displaying a ‘Right first time’ approach
  • Adherence to KPIs and SLAs and constant review of activities to identify business and process improvement.
  • Delivery of meaningful and timely analysis or reports that can be used to improve our management of pricing constituents.
  • To comply with the Company's Business Management, Environmental and Information Security Management Systems and ensure that all work performed meets the Company's criteria for each of these areas
  • To observe and comply with the Company's Health & Safety requirements and standards

Qualifications required

  • GCSE Grade C or above in English Language & Mathematics or equivalent
