An opportunity has arisen for a PSC (Personalisation Centre) Data Support Engineer within the Personalisation department in Fareham, reporting to the PSC NPI Manager.  The role will entail working on a double day shift pattern.

Duties will include:

  • Support and monitor customer data processing administration.
  • Support PSC Production as first point of contact with personalisation issues.
  • First Line Support for Workestra tools, infrastructure and investigations.
  • Industrialisation of new products/projects, ensuring the best productivity goals are met.
  • Process customer test requests logged onto the EasyIT system.
  • Deal with customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to other operational departments OPSIT, PSC Engineering, Project Management and Customer Services teams.
  • Communicate any customer or data issues to the Customer Services department.
  • Liaise directly with the customer when necessary to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Working to the ISO 9001 and PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards to ensure conformity.
  • Setup and administration of the DC9000 / MX6000 / MPR5800 / Cassilo / XID / VHD equipment.
  • Develop customer card carrier and PIN templates using Microsoft Word and PRES Designer.
  • Carry out administration on the PSC systems e.g. JMS, PSC Monitor and Product Browser.
  • Support all of the above at the NEST site in Havant when required.

 

Other information

  • The company is located at a remote industrial estate with minimal public transport the nearest train station is Swanwick.

Skills required:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both internally and externally).
  • Must be computer literate with a logical working approach and a high attention to detail.
  • Good level of knowledge and skills in Microsoft Windows OS, Word and Excel.
  • Should possess knowledge of database methods.
  • Previous experience of working in a data support role would be advantageous.

  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Qualifications required

  • GCSE English, Maths and IT grades A-C or equivalent preferred but not essential
