Start your career within this fast paced IT Software development company. You'll be playing a key role in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of i-wonder software systems. The programs you create will support our business to be more efficient to all end users.

  • Currently working with all the main UK aggregators and over 60
    insurer brands

Duties will include:

To undertake assigned software development activities such as:-
  • New application development
  • Feature enhancements
  • Maintenance, fault investigation and resolution
  • Merging between source control branches
  • Database scripting and optimisation
  • Data migration
  • Unit testing and production of test evidence
  • Creation of installation packages
  • Documentation
  • Software development in accordance with approved departmental procedures, good practice guidelines and coding standards.  Making proper use of company systems such as source control and incident management systems

Other information

  • This position would suit an individual who has already experienced some software development and coding within a work or education environment.
  • Ideally you will have some knowledge or experience in any or some of the fields above to support your application

  • Must have excellent IT skills and the confidence to take on and use new systems
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Keyboard skills
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to follow and carry out simple instructions
  • Able to interact well with people and work as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and to agreed time scales

Qualifications required

  • GCSE English Grade C and above or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths Grade C and above or equivalent
  • GCSE ICT Grade C and above or equivalent
