Duties will include:

As you progress through your apprenticeship, your role will involve:-

  • As an IT Apprentice you will be working across the Information Service, delivering exceptional customer service to Portsmouth City Council staff whilst working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship in IT.
  • This role is ideal for someone looking to take their first steps into a career in IT. A positive attitude, fantastic behaviors and a willingness to learn are essential.

 

Other information 

  • May be required to undertake some work during the evening or at weekends.
  • Your work base will be Civic Offices with some offsite work.

Skills required:

  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • Good numeracy and mathematical skills
  • An aptitude and / or interest in IT

Qualifications required

  •  Preferred GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths, and IT grade A* - C (5 – 9)
