Total Productive Maintenance
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is the LEAN tool concerned with maximising the efficiency of Production Machinery. This intensive one day course introduced delegates to TPM and the approaches which can be used to remove the losses from machine areas with the introduction of autonomous maintenance programmes.
Creating a LEAN Culture
The overall aim was to provide all members of staff with the underpinning knowledge required to secure a grounding of continuous improvement. The training was delivered to all staff within the business and provided an understanding of the basic principles of LEAN. Key members of staff were selected as LEAN champions and went on to attend further training to give them a more comprehensive understanding of the LEAN methodology. With phase 2 complete this then led to monthly one-to-one coaching sessions with PETA’s LEAN expert.
