What we do for business
People development is at the core of what we do both locally, in Hampshire, the south coast and nationally. We specialise in helping our customers develop their people to make a difference - by the range of open courses available to all, through the customisation of programmes that are unique to the client's organisation, the provision of advisory and consultancy services to provide hands-on support when it's needed the most and through cost-effective Apprenticeship solutions which enable companies to grow and develop young people to become the leaders of the future.
In addition, businesses can hire training and conference facilities at One Access Point in Cosham, which boasts a superb facility, fully air-conditioned with on-site catering and parking and your very own event co-ordinator to ensure your event is successful in every way.
What we do for young people
It's a tough world and the right decisions are hard to find when it comes to leaving school. Apprenticeships are a great way to earn, learn, gain qualifications and, more importantly, develop the skills employers need - PETA will help with identifying what's best for the individual and finding a suitable employer.
Naturally, we do not all come in the same box with the same interests or needs in life and therefore we have three types of programmes to help young people to get themselves into work, an Apprenticeship or on to college;
-
Gateway to Apprenticeships - employers want people to join their organisations with some knowledge and skills in both the workplace and the job role, this programme is aimed at doing exactly that through giving the basic skills needed and for finding an employer so that a full Apprenticeship can be secured.
- Apprenticeship - an excellent programme which is on-the-job and is widely recognised by employers as one of the preferred routes to developing young staff and offers qualifications, skills and personal development directly related to the job role.
All of the above programmes are funded for those aged 16-18 with no fees to pay!
