This one-day course, which now falls within the HSE Regulations, is a great introduction to the basic medical and emergency skills that all First Aid contacts in the workplace should have under their belt.
What is it about?
First Aid and the basic skills that will enable you to assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
What will I learn?
You will understand the role of the first aider, including reference to the use of available equipment and the need for recording incidents and actions.

Role of the first aider
Care of the unconscious casualty
Practical emergency lifesaving skills, including resuscitation, bleeding and choking
Practical first aid for minor injuries
