Slinging and Lifting Awareness
Every year employees are injured or harmed through incorrect use and care of slinging and lifting equipment designed to move loads. This is a very good course for anyone responsible for using or supervising use of this equipment, as delegates are presented with sound slinging and lifting awareness in compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998.
Objectives
This course combines theory with a short practical session:

Safe working procedures associated with wires, ropes, spreader beams, and a variety of lifting appliances

Short practical session to identify and inspect all lifting accessories for compliance with legal requirements at the end of the workshop
