First Aid at Work Re-Qualification

Courses - Courses - Health and Safety Training

Individuals who have achieved the First Aid at Work Certificate are required to re-qualify within three years to maintain a valid certificate.  This ensures their ability to respond effectively to emergency illness or injury situations in business, with currency of knowledge of changing approaches and techniques in delivering first aid.

 

Objectives

This course is designed to refresh existing knowledge and:

  • Introduce new developments and techniques on delivering first aid

  • Re-energise knowledge of how to deal with emergency situations

  • Raise individual confidence in their ability to respond positively and calmly

 

Course Overview

  • Priorities of first aid

  • Respiration

  • Bleeding

  • Bandages and dressings

  • Unconsciousness

  • Fractures

  • Transport

  • Group discussion - theory

 

Assessment

The course is assessed through an exam on day three

Multiple booking discounts

When you have a number of individuals booking on to the same course (date and subject), we will extend a multiple discount offer. The discount is available to a maximum of three places per course, which must be booked at the same time, and will be applied at the point of booking.

The following discounts are available when booking the same course (date and subject):

  • Book one person at full price (member or non-member rate.)
  • Book two people at the same time and receive a 10% discount for the second person.
  • Book three people at the same time and receive a 10% discount for the second person and a 15% discount for the third person.

Example: Management and Leadership - An Introduction. Member rate per delegate is £867 (plus VAT) for the day. Book the second delegate for a fee of £780 (10% discount). Book a third for £737 (15% discount). This represents a saving of enough to pay for one individual to attend another course from our directory!

Multiple bookings are available only on those courses appropriately marked and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.

If you have more than three delegates, it may be more cost effective to hold a sponsored event, which can be tailored exactly to your needs.
