Membership

Companies joining PETA as a Member are required to abide by the following governing documents which are issued at the time of joining.

icon PETA Memorandum and Articles

icon PETA Membership Rules

The constitution of PETA is such that the above documents are legally binding and a Company’s application to join PETA is not based upon the individual signing the application but the organisation for whom this individual represents.

Members are the shareholders of the business and since PETA is a registered charity, and a Company Limited by Guarantee and not having a share capital, it is prohibited from sharing any profits made by the company.  As shareholders, members who wish to resign are required to give 12 months written notice of resignation as detailed in clause 3 of the Articles of Association.
