PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Business Administration Apprentice with a premier IT provider in Bordon.

PETA are working with Smallworld IT to recruit an enthusiastic and organised individual to join the team as a Business Administration Apprentice.

Founded in September 2000, Smallworld IT are a premier supplier with over 20 years in the business. They look after entire business infrastructures for their clients. Their objective is simple... their business is your solution.

Duties

Joining the team as a Business Administration Apprentice, you will report into the Managing Director. In your new role, you will be supporting the business directors & management. As you develop in your position, you will take on responsibilities including:

  • Assisting colleagues in day-to-day business
  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Responding to general customer enquiries
  • Logging customer requests
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Managing the CRM System
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Managing Suppliers
  • General Accounting

Skills

The role of Business Administration Apprentice will suit an extremely enthusiastic individual who is looking to start their career within a fast moving and varied environment. As the ideal applicant, you will have a good standard of education and a high standard in written English. You will require excellent customer service skills and be willing to learn new skills in all aspects of the business. 

Personal qualities
  • Confident with speaking on the telephone & face to face– excellent telephone manner
  • Good IT Skills –ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use initiative and to be proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to use social media sites to support with Marketing
Qualifications required
  • GCSE English & Maths Grades A* – C or 4 – 9 or Functional Skills Level 2 Certificate

Future prospects
  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship there will be a full-time role available at the business
Training to be provided

This position is offered as an apprenticeship and you will be completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You will be employed directly by the client but be support every step of the way by PETA.

The majority of your training will be completed with your employer at your place of however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of our PETA training centres for off the job training.
