PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Sales Support Administrator Apprentice with an award-winning plastic injection moulding company based in Waterlooville. If you have an interest in administration and analysing data, this apprenticeship is for you!

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the sales team, analyse data and suggest improvements to ensure team consistency and efficiency.

The Sales Support Administrator will provide administrative support to the sales team by preparing quotations and other documentation, log drawings and creating quotation files. They will also update internal databases with account information and maintain and update sales and customer records including the Dynamics CRM system. Other duties to include:

  • Liaising with Technical, Procurement and Operations teams to ensure estimates are accurately produced.
  • Updating and producing procedures to standardise/improve activities within the sales department as required.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining accurate price lists and individual cost estimating models.
  • Maintaining and improving customer margin reporting by identifying and recommending margin improvement opportunities through deeper analysis.
  • Analysing and reporting on current sales performance.
  • Analysing customer demand and identifying trends based on previous performance.
  • Suggesting adjustments, revisions and improvements to sales practices and processes.
  • Researching and reporting on current market changes and trends.
  • Working with the Account Managers to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Coordinating meetings and calls for the Account Management team as required.
  • Helping create promotional material as required.
  • Assisting marketing initiatives to improve the Company’s digital presence including creating, and publishing engaging content on the Company’s social media platforms

  • Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service by providing professional, helpful, high quality customer service before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met.
  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement by ensuring product quality is maintained and good working practices are adhered to.


As the ideal Sales Support Administrator Apprentice you will require excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. You will also require:

  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office package applications
  • Knowledge of good customer service practices
  • Good knowledge of administrative practices
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good data presentation skills such as graphs, charts, tables etc.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Strong time management and IT skills
Personal qualities
  • Previous administrative experience in a customer facing environment
  • Knowledge of pricing practices and cost estimating models
  • Ability to remain highly motivated with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Qualifications required
  • 4 GCSEs at grade C / 4 or higher or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent

Training to be provided

As the Sales Support Administrator Apprentice you will be working towards the Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice through PETA. Completion of this apprenticeship takes approximately 15 months.

You will be employed directly by the client but be supported every step of the way by PETA. The majority of your training will be completed with your employer at your place of however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of our PETA training centres for off the job training.
