This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to support the performance team with administration duties whilst gaining experience and working towards a recognised qualification. There will be future progression available upon completion of the apprenticeship with the opportunity to work closely with other teams.

Duties

The Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for electronic filing, minute taking and booking meetings. Other duties will include:

  • Covering the front desk, greeting visitors and advising them of safety rules
  • Producing and sending letters to residents for work in their roads i.e. gully cleanse, deep cleanse
  • Recording all Health and Safety statistics on a daily basis
  • Recording all Waste Transfer notes in Smartwaste
  • Assisting with updating Property Management records
  • Logging Customer Compliments and Customer Satisfactions Survey Results
  • Updating internal staff telephone directory and customer enquiries on CHAIN system
  • Assisting with updating and producing performance and property reports
  • Other ad hoc tasks and attending various training courses

Skills

The ideal Business Administration Apprentice will have strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner. They will also:

  • Have a good understanding of IT systems; MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be good at record keeping
  • Have experience of prioritising time critical work
  • Be able to analyse methodically and in detail
  • Be confident with good attention to detail
  • Have strong personal organisation
  • Work flexibility with a positive attitude to change

Qualifications required
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade A*-C / 4-9 or Level 2 Functional Skills

Training to be provided

This position is offered as an apprenticeship and you will be completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You will be employed directly by the client but be support every step of the way by PETA.

The majority of your training will be completed with your employer at your place of however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of our PETA training centres for off the job training.
