This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Helpdesk Support / 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Technician, to learn new skills and progress within the IT field.
This role is a fantastic first step towards working in IT support within a team of this global company. You will be working closely with IT colleagues in all technical disciplines to share knowledge, ensure consistency and improve service levels in all IT disciplines.
The IT Support Apprentice works in the Operations Services team, resolving technical incidents, problems and queries from internal FatFace customers.
You will ensure:
All requests are logged accurately, with good technical and non-technical information, to ensure timely resolution of all incidents.
Additionally, you will provide general advice and guidance on the best use of IT services offered at FatFace, covering hardware, software and online services.

An appreciation of the IT industry, technology trends
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Good technical understanding of end user IT hardware, software and services

GCSE Maths and English grade A*-C / 4-9 or Level 2 equivalent

Potential full-time employment upon completion of the Infrastructure Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship standard
Training to be provided
This position is offered as an apprenticeship and you will be completing a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification. Most of your training will be completed in the workplace, however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend classroom-based sessions for off the job training. You will have regular reviews with your PETA Learning and Development Coach who will be able to offer help and advice to ensure the successful completion of your qualification
