As a Project Administrator you will be working directly with a Project Manager to support them with the day to day running of each of their assigned client’s research programmes.

There is the intention for a full-time permanent position to be offered to the suitable and successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Duties

The Project Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To carry out market research telephone surveys to customers of your Project Manager’s assigned clients.
  • To listen to and score recorded telephone calls against an agreed criteria for your Project Manager’s assigned clients.
  • To support your Project Manager with communicating with field team researchers that are working on each project to answer any questions they may have, provide them with any required information they need to complete their assignments and follow-up any outstanding assignments.
  • To support your Project Manager with quality checking each completed assignment and validate as approved or reject back to the researcher and provide feedback as to why. The quality checking process may include reviewing mystery shopping video footage and audio files if these research methods are involved in the programme(s).
  • To support your Project Manager with any other administration related tasks, as and when required

  • Remote Working Management:

    • Weekly video calls with line manager
    • Bi-weekly in person team meetings
    • Quarterly in person whole business meetings
    • Quarterly in person one-2-one reviews with line manager
    • Annual in person performance reviews with line manager and senior manager

Skills

It is essential that the Project Administrator Apprentice is an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. Other essential criteria include:

  • Polite telephone manner
  • Confident and polite nature
  • Organised
  • Good ICT skills including the use of MS Office
Personal qualities

It is desirable for applicants to have:

  • Experience working in customer service
Qualifications required
  • GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required.

Training to be provided
  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
  • You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham.
  • You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
