Apprenticeship summary:

Are you someone that takes pride in being well organised and providing a professional service? Do you have a welcoming character? Your Lead Machine (Your Answering Machine) are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to start with them as an Apprentice Receptionist/PA.

Your Lead Machine Ltd has opened a new company, Your Answering Machine, answering telephone calls for businesses, taking messages and emailing customers in a professional manner. This allows businesses to undertake the work they need to do whilst calls, emails and messages are managed separately by a professional company. This ensures business is not lost and that the services provided to customers is maintained to the highest level.

Duties

  • Demonstrating the highest standards of customer service through effective communication
  • Answering the telephone within 5 rings and greeting the caller with a professional greeting (scripts are available)
  • Taking messages for the customer and ensuring contact details are taken such as name, contact number and email address
  • Ensuring messages are recorded correctly
  • Emailing clients with message details in a set time to ensure customer service for the business is not damaged
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company databases
  • Maintaining working knowledge of new services and services they provide
Other information
  • Public transport is very limited– please ensure that you are able to travel to the business

  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft – Word, Excel and Outlook

Training to be provided

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training.  The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

You will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
