ERP Support Technician – Customer Service Apprentice -

Apprenticeship summary:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a Gold Partner of Priority Software ERP with a Head Office in Southampton and satellite offices throughout UK and Australia.
You will be joining the Medatech Support Team in a role which will expand your knowledge of ERP, with many opportunities to move into project management, development and implementation.

Medatech was established to provide technical services to Priority customers in all technical aspects, so that customers have one focal point for any computing issues. The services include providing equipment and accompanying software required, installation and ongoing technical support.


You will be responsible for dealing with Priority software support issues raised by Medatech customers, as well as maintaining customer relationships and working on internal support and training tasks.

The support calls are not just IT queries, they will require you to cover many different subjects such as:

  • CRM
  • Order processing
  • Inventory
  • Production
  • Scanning
  • Accounts
  • Purchasing
  • MRP

Other information:

  • Driving license is preferred to be able to get to the business as public transport is limited

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE in Maths Grades A – C or 4 – 9 or Functional Skills Level 2
  • GCSE in English Grades A – C or 4 – 9 or Functional Skills Level 2


  • 20 days holidays plus 8 days Bank Holiday

Future Prospects:

  • There are good prospects for progression within the company. Medatech have an excellent record for training and retaining staff who move into other job roles and undertake further training.

Training to be provided:

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training.  The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

You will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
