Electronic Media Services Ltd (EMS) require an IT Support Apprentice to complete a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship. An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in this 1st/2nd line role troubleshooting and maintaining applications, servers (Windows + Linux) and networking (routing, VPNs and security).
EMS develops and manufactures Intelligent Mobile Office (i-MO) which is an integrated high performance 4G router and server appliance providing secure data communications for remote or temporary locations and mobile applications. Its ruggedized construction was specifically designed for harsh/industrial environments. It is widely used in the construction industry, government. broadcasting and in diverse business continuity/disaster recovery applications.
You will be working as an IT Support Apprentice to work in this 1st/2nd line role troubleshooting and maintaining applications, servers (Windows + Linux) and networking (routing, VPNs and security). This role will provide the right candidate with a fantastic opportunity to gain full and industry recognised qualifications.
The ideal person will be enthusiastic and will relish the challenge of working in an IT service desk/1st line support/helpdesk environment supporting users and partners and will be looking to develop their hardware and software troubleshooting skills along with experience of call logging and ticketing software.

Level 3 IT Diploma (Essential)
20 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, it is likely that there will be a full time role available at the business and an option to complete a Level 4 Network Engineer apprenticeship
Training to be provided:
Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training. The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.
You will be completing Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship along with the following qualifications:
Microsoft (MTA) Networking Fundamentals
Microsoft (MTA) Mobility and device Fundamentals
Microsoft (MTA) Server Admin
Microsoft (MTA) Software development Fundamentals
ITIL Foundation V4
Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
