Apprenticeship summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast paced and growing Mechanic firm based in central Fareham.

They are now looking for an individual who is keen to complete a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship, progress and stay on within the business after completion of their apprenticeship.

Being a Mechanical company, they are looking for someone who is willing to learn, who has attention to detail and someone who is highly organised as you can be doing various tasks at once. A person who is also hands on and not be afraid to get their hands dirty due to the nature of the business, it is not a Corporate working environment.  

Quality Asset Management Ltd is the main head office with QAM Vehicle Solutions Ltd as one of its smaller companies, along with Quality Tyres and Bus62. The MOT centre is in progress and once open will be called the Fareham Van Centre Ltd. QAM Vehicle Solutions Ltd service and carry out maintenance on their fleet of over 300 vehicles and customers own vehicles.  


You will provide administrative support to the Office Manager and any other colleagues when needed.

  • Using the purchasing and sales ledger

  • An interest in mechanics would be advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths Grades A – C or 4 – 9 or Functional Skills Level 2 Certificate
  • GCSE English English Grades A – C or 4 – 9 or Functional Skills Level 2 Certificate

  • 20 days paid holiday (3 days to be used for Christmas) plus Bank Holidays
  • Pension offered after successful completion of probation

Future Prospects:

  • If successful and found to be suitable, long term employment maybe available
  • Progress into Management and further training and development

Training to be provided:

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training.  The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

You will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Business Administrator Level 3
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
