PETA are proud to be working on behalf of Smallworld IT (UK) Limited to source an exceptional Business Administration Apprentice on their behalf.
The candidate will report directly to the Managing Director. The job will suit an extremely enthusiastic individual who is looking to start their career within a fast moving and varied environment. Applicants will have a good standard of education and a high standard in written English. The applicant must have excellent customer service skills and be willing to learn new skills in all aspects of the business. This is an office-based role and daily duties may vary.
Smallworld IT is a small, yet very busy company providing IT support and Managed Services to a variety of clients.
Smallworld is responsible for supporting and maintaining their client’s IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all. Smallworld are responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently, including a broad range of queries from how to set up an email account to system diagnostics, plus enhancing and developing the IT provision extended within the business.
Supporting Directors & Management
Assisting colleagues in day-to-day business
Answering and directing telephone calls
Responding to general customer enquiries
Logging customer requests
Customer Relationship Management
Managing the CRM System
Scheduling meetings and appointments
General running of the office
Maintaining office supplies
Ordering goods & equipment for installations
Managing on-line payment systems
Processing accounts & payroll
Banking & bank reconciliation's
Managing debtors & late payments

Confident with speaking on the telephone – excellent telephone manner
Good IT Skills –ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Upon completion of the apprenticeship there will be a full-time role available at the business
Training to be provided
Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training. The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.
