PETA Training are proud to be working with The River Test Distillery Ltd, looking to source an exceptional Digital Marketing Apprentice for their organisation.

An Apprenticeship is a great opportunity to start or develop your career with a salaried job and free training. The River Test Distillery are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Digital Marketing Apprentice to support with growing the brand and business further. You will promote the business using various media channels such as Twitter, Linked In, YouTube and Facebook. You will support with the marketing, research, sales and attend events to promote the brand and products.

The River Test Distillery is an award-winning, family-owned business that launched in 2019. The distillery is situated in a beautiful location on the River Test in Longparish, Hampshire. Owners Sarah and Jonathan are passionate about their surroundings and developing their brand and products, both locally and to a wider market nationally.

Duties

  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer and business needs
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through marketing, networking and social media
  • Demonstrating the highest standards of customer service and be able to communicate effectively
  • Managing the website
  • Set up meetings for potential new businesses to retail the product(s)
  • Creating content for the website and social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
  • Managing and creating marketing campaigns across various media platforms
  • Responding to and creating campaigns for promotional activities; GoogleAds, LinkedIn Campaigns, etc.
  • Communicating with a range of audiences and digital platforms
  • Analysing and contributing information on the digital environment
  • Recommending and applying effective, secure and appropriate solutions
  • Reviewing, monitoring and analysing online activity
  • Responding efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms
  • Applying structured techniques to problem solving
  • Understanding and creating basic analytical dashboards
  • Building and implementing digital campaigns
  • Applying at least two of a range of digital specialist areas
  • Using digital tools effectively
  • Measuring and evaluating the success of digital marketing activities
  • Interpreting and following latest developments, trends, marketing briefs, plans, customer standards and approaches to continuous integration
  • Attending online and face-to-face networking events to promote the company and to attract new business
  • Updating CRM and ensure data is correct to support with various marketing campaigns
  • Researching various events –  investigating whether to attend and help organise involvement in the event
Other information
  • There is no public transport, so you will need to be a driver with a vehicle.

Training to be provided

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training.  The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

You will be completing Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship along with the following qualifications:

  • Digital Marketer Level 3
  • BCS Principles in Coding
  • CIM (Charted Institute of Marketing) Level 3 Award in marketing Fundamentals
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
