An opportunity has arisen to share in our success by leading and co-ordinating the development of a range of engineering programmes for delivery at our Engineering Training Centre based in Havant.
The Centre provides an extensive portfolio of engineering training services to employers and young people. In particular, the department is responsible for a significant apprenticeship programme comprising over 200 apprentices, employed by our client companies, and with success rates well above the national average.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the job holder will lead and co-ordinate the development of a range of programmes across the engineering curriculum to reflect the company’s commitment to ensuring an excellent learner experience is provided. Particular focus is required on the curriculum development of the new apprenticeship standards and end point assessment as well as contribution to our quality systems in support of our aim to provide outstanding teaching, learning and curriculum design and delivery.
You will also be responsible for the commercial agenda in developing our engineering offer for adult skills in order to meet local and regional demands whilst aligning with our own objective to grow this aspect of our business.

This position involves local travel and therefore possession of a car, for which an allowance will be paid, and a full driving licence are essential.
Essential requirements for this role:
- HNC engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of curriculum development and planning in engineering
- Good understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards
- Experience of working within a learning environment
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Full driving licence and use of own car
