An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Trainer to join our team of professional trainers based at our prestigious Management Training and Conference facility in Cosham.
This is a truly rewarding and exhilarating role, where your passion for educating employers and employee as the importance of health and safety in practice is essential. The role offers the opportunity to be involved in the design and delivery of a range for courses from qualification programmes such as NEBOSH and IOSH through to short training courses covering arrange of health and safety elements. We pride ourselves in our ability to offer training that is pragmatic, relevant and engages people so that they gain valuable and transferable knowledge and skills that make a difference to working environments.
We are seeking a confident person, who is looking for that ideal opportunity to deliver training through sharing their health and safety expertise. You will be naturally able to the engage people, applying creative, innovative and practical techniques to developing and delivering services that demonstrate the benefits of health and safety practice in the workplace. You will have excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills, a sound working knowledge of health and safety, and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum. Practical experience in the design and delivery of training, a teaching (PTLLS or equivalent), environmental qualification would be advantageous.

Delivery of services will be based either in our super training facility at our Management Training and Conference Centre or at individual employer premises, so you must be flexible to travel within the role. Therefore, a full driving license and use of car is essential for this post.
Essential requirements for this role:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Practical experience in the application of health and safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation/training skills
- Organisational skills - ability to plan time effectively
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) proficient
- Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
- Full driving licence and use of own car
