An exciting position has arisen for a Health and Safety professional to join our team, in delivering key services to our customers as a Health and Safety Adviser and Trainer.

Being part of our growing health and safety department offers a superb opportunity for the right person with both practical experience and sound knowledge backed up by qualifications, to engage with customers across a diverse range of industries and to take on the role of providing competent guidance and interpretation of legislation, offering a pragmatic approach to tackling what can be a confusing area for business leaders.
As a Safety Adviser, you will be able to take a lead role in developing safety systems and procedures, positively influencing the development of a safety culture and delivering results that add value to our customers, whilst working closely with them at any one of our valued customers sites, to ensure continual improvements to their health and safety performance and helping to ensure legal compliance.
Training delivery will see you assisting customers with their health and safety training requirements with courses ranging from First Aid through to the NEBOSH General Certificate, and many more.
To succeed in this post you will have excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills, a sound working knowledge of health and safety, and hold as a minimum requirement the NEBOSH General Certificate. Practical experience in the design and delivery of training, a teaching (PTLLS or equivalent) qualification, environmental qualification, and membership of IOSH at either Graduate or Chartered status would be advantageous.
Delivery of courses will be based either at our prestigious Management Training and Conference Centre or at individual employer premises, so you must be flexible to travel within the role, therefore, a full driving licence and use of car is essential for this post.

Essential requirements for this role:
- Practical knowledge of health and safety
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation/training skills
- Organisational skills - ability to plan time effectively
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) proficient
- Experience of standards (including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and OHSAS18001)
- Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
- Full driving licence and use of own car
