Meet Charles Pearce
A former student at Feltham Community College (Bognor) Charles is now an Engineering Apprentice at
Natures Way Foods Ltd.
I wanted to do an Apprenti ceship because I saw it as the more relevant choice of further education in the field that I wanted to pursue. My Apprenticeship at Natures Way Foods has been very enjoyable. Everyone within the company has been very supportive and welcoming. I’ve been given plenty of opportunities to
gain new skills and knowledge through Natures Way Foods, either on site to gain my lift truck and MEWP authorisation, food safety qualification, in-house safety circuit and motor training; or off site to learn how to weld, and a day course on pneumatics; with more to come.
PETA have been very supportive throughout my time with them. Everyone in the organisation is very friendly and approachable. The six months spent there gaining my level 2 qualifications provided me with what I needed to get off to a good start in the work environment. Every few weeks, my assessor comes to my workplace to make sure that I’m doing the right kind of work to gain my level 3 NVQ, and also to ensure that I’m happy.« All News Articles
