Avoid huge fines for inadequate risk assessments

A major frozen food manufacturer based in Whittlesey, near Peterborough, has been fined £800,000 for safety failings.

An employee’s arm became trapped in machinery, resulting in permanent damage to his hand.

The company was fined £800,000 with costs of £12,831.51, as their risk assessment had failed to recognise the danger of incorrect machine guards being fitted.

Why take the risk to your employees and your companies wellbeing?
