NEW Apprenticeships Launching 2018/19
The Apprenticeship Levy offers employers an excellent opportunity to support the development of key roles in their business, through either recruiting new people or developing existing employees using Apprenticeship standards.
PETA are working towards the introduction of three new offers:
Safety, Health and Environment Technician
A level 3 qualification for those providing advice and guidance to others at work on safety, health and environmental (SHE) issues.
The benefits include; supporting the embedding of a safety culture, the identification and control of hazards and risks to reduce the potential for incidents and accidents and the promotion of compliance with legislation through developing a competent person to advise on SHE issues.
Associate Project Management
A level 4 qualification pathway for individuals who are responsible for co-ordinating or managing projects. This Apprenticeship will develop skills in project costings and management, planning time bound outputs, resource utilisation, monitoring progress and working within a team structure.
This level 3 Apprenticeship is ideal for those working in HR who need to develop their ability to work effectively and add value to the business, by delivering front-line support to managers and employees on a wide range of issues and activities.
