What made you choose an apprenticeship?
I was looking at changing careers; I had only worked in retail before and saw that doing an apprenticeship would give me the opportunity to progress in a different field.

Horndean Technology College
Where would you like to go next in your career?
I would possibly like to progress into a media role.
What was your favourite thing about being an apprentice?
Having the support and knowing that you are going to be learning things even a few months down the line of being in your job.
What’s the best bit of the job/ what do you feel proud of and why?
In invoicing I can really make a difference to the quality of people’s holidays. It’s good to know that somebody is enjoying a hassle-free holiday because of the work I do.
What did you buy with your first pay-cheque?
I paid the deposit for a cruise that I’m going on with colleagues from work.
Would you recommend apprenticeships and if so why?
Yes, I would recommend apprenticeships. It’s a great way to gain experience when starting a new job/career and looks good on your CV for potential future employers.
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is gaining the confidence to answer the phones at work. With the support of people at work, it makes it seem a lot less scary.« All News Articles
