Businesses head to PETA in Portsmouth for a free day of inspirational training tasters
Over 110 people representing local businesses attended PETA’s Management and Training Conference centre in Portsmouth for a day of free Course Tasters and inspirational talks. This is the thirteenth year the Portsmouth based company has run this annual event. This year’s event opened with keynote speaker, Nigel Risner, who delivered an insightful and super charged session offering tips in how to increase your personal impact in business to achieve powerful results.

A selection of twenty one 60 minute taster sessions followed offering a ‘pick and mix’ of topical business themes to attend including Customer Centric Thinking - Creating Trust in your Brand, The Pillars of Modern Leadership, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion - Embracing Individuality, Mental Health First Aiders – A Powerful route to employee wellbeing, and many more. A wide range of businesses including Brittany Ferries, Garmin, Mountjoy, and MoneyBarn, were in attendance.
PETA CEO, Huw Chapman explains: “Each year we open our doors to showcase our first class training venue and the wide range of high quality courses we have on offer at PETA. This is my first year as CEO and I am delighted by the response we have had from our attendees. It has been great to hear all the positive feedback and particularly how our courses can help organisations improve their business performance. Overall it was clear to see how much business benefit people have gained from attending the event. ”
