Safety, Health and Environment Technician Apprenticeship
Putting safety at the heart of your business
As a business owner, you will recognise the importance of ensuring that you comply with health and safety legislation within your business, not just because the law says you must, but because it makes sound business sense to protect your employees, your business wellbeing, and of course your business reputation.
Business growth can lead to greater demands on resources, and that is why good education and training is vitally important to building the skills needed as your business expands. Health and Safety is one area in which a sound basis of knowledge within the business is essential.
We are excited to be offering a new route to competence: the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Technician Apprenticeship, which provides an excellent programme of learning, enabling your nominated champion to experience relevant and practical learning, backed up by a national apprenticeship-standard and qualification. Our programme commences in May 2019 and we are accepting expressions of interest now.
The great news is, if you pay the Apprenticeship Levy, this qualification comes into scope to be supported via your digital account. If you are not subject to the Apprenticeship Levy, you'll pay just £500 (10%) towards this apprenticeship training (subject to eligibility).
It’s a great way to develop your competent health and safety person in:
- SHE Management systems
- Hazards and Risks
- Inspections and Monitoring Systems
- Promoting a positive Safety Culture
