PETA CMI students to receive professional status
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) have announced the launch of Foundation Chartered Manager - a professional status for those in the early stages of their management career.
This is great news for those who have studied or are thinking of studying a CMI Level 3 Management & Leadership qualification at PETA, as from June 2019, the CMI will be awarding this status to all those who complete one of these qualifications, as well as learners who have completed one in the past 12 months. This status is already awarded to Level 5 learners.
Chartered Manager is the highest status in management and leadership, and the CMI are keen to recognise those who are qualified and committed to becoming Chartered. As PETA’s programmes are already mapped against the CMI Professional Standard, CMI is able to automatically award fCMgr status upon successful completion.
As PETA is a Foundation Chartered Manager and a member of CMI, PETA learners will be able to use the post-nominals of fCMgr, as well as receive a clear personal development road-map to support them on their journey to becoming Chartered.
This is great news all round as not only will learners gain professional status that will look great on their CV and give them letters after their name, it may also spur them on to work towards becoming Chartered, which will be good for them as well as their employers who will benefit from a more motivated and focused employee.
If you’re thinking of starting one of PETA’s CMI qualifications, read on to find out more about the programmes that will lead to Foundation Chartered Manager status.
