Is your succession planning in need of a review?
The CBI’s deputy director-general, Katja Hall, is concerned that “the UK’s growing skills gap is now seen as the number one workforce threat to the long-term health of its economy”. In an article posted on the BBC News Education today, she reports according to a survey by the CBI more than half of employers fear they will not be able to recruit enough high-skilled workers, warning that a skills shortage is "threatening to starve economic growth" and that "firms are facing a skills emergency now,".
