Event summary: Join us at our dynamic session bringing together engineering leaders to delve into the evolving landscape of our engineering training and apprenticeship provision here at PETA.

We are pleased to share with you the next Engineering Industry Workshop on Thursday 18th July 2024 between 9:00 - 12:00 at PETA - 1 Access Point, Northarbour Rd, Portsmouth PO6 3TE.

Our dynamic session aims to bring together engineering leaders to delve deep into the evolving landscape of our engineering training and apprenticeship provision here at PETA. Your collaborative discussions and thoughts are crucial in planning the future.

From previous sessions we've been able to use your expert knowledge and input to design and offer our First Line Leadership in Engineering course, so far host a total of 6 Apprentice CPD Enrichment Engineering Masterclasses, as well as be in the process of designing and exploring a range of other courses for the future, two being a part of the next session.

Content of Workshop:

1. Welding - Exploring our new Level 1 & Level 2 City and Guilds course that comes with a qualification

2. HNC - Since our last workshop, Darren Kelly, Engineering Curriculum Lead at PETA, has been exploring your interest in HNC's. We are pleased to share that we have further developments with this and would be interested in hearing from you thoughts on some of these topics

3. Interested in hearing about what PETA are missing and what can be explored/introduced to support you further

4. We will have feedback from our recent First Line Leadership in Engineering course

5. Jamie Garrett will be presenting a summary on our Engineering Department at PETA and how are have changed over the past 2 years alongside our plans.
