○ How extreme weather, heatwaves, air quality and climate related issues are impacting worker safety - Human Factors - combating fatigue, distraction and burnout
○ The impact of cognitive overload, long hours and digital distractions on safety critical work - New sentencing guidelines for H&S and Corporate Manslaughter
○ From June 2025 the sentencing council has issued revised guidelines for organisations with a turnover of more than £50m, giving courts instructions to impose higher fines proportionate to organisational size and offence severity - Martyn's Law (Terrorism (protection of Premises) Act 2025)
○ Since Royal Assent on 3 April 2025, venues hosting 200+ people must implement formal terror-threat preparedness measures. Have you had to make any changes to your emergency plans in accordance with Martyn's Law? - Neurodiversity and H&S
○ Addressing diverse worker needs - neurodiversity, language barriers and ensuring Risk Assessments and PPE are fit for all workers. How is this managed in your organisation? - Safety Metrics - is 'days since last incident' helping or hurting safety culture?
