Each session lasts just 1 hour 30 minutes, taking place at the start of the day to minimise disruption. Gain hands-on learning, explore new topics beyond your apprenticeship, and build your skills, confidence, and knowledge - all while contributing to your CPD, extra-curricular activities, and, where eligible, your OTJ tracker.

Assertiveness with Jeremy Toole
The importance of developing assertiveness in the workplace cannot be underestimated. Assertive behaviour is vital for building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and achieving success. In any organisation collaboration is crucial if productivity and efficiency are to be achieved, and an environment where individuals are able to confidently and respectfully state their needs, express their opinions, and present their ideas can foster this collaboration and lead to employees feeling valued and empowered.
There is no question that it is important to possess the skills to do a job well, however it is impossible to truly succeed unless critical behaviours such as assertiveness are not developed. This masterclass will help you to consider what you can do to become more assertive and enhance your self-esteem in the face of our ever-changing world of work.
