Course overview

Apprenticeship units are short, flexible training programmes designed to help employers quickly upskill their workforce in critical skill areas.

This level 5 leadership unit will help learners to successfully implement and scale AI solutions while managing organisational change and workforce impact

Over the course of 7 training sessions, leaders move from strategy to delivery - focusing on embedding AI into operations, managing change, and ensuring long-term success. It covers workforce transformation, risk management, and performance monitoring to support sustainable AI adoption.

By the end of this unit, learners will be able to:

Lead AI delivery aligned to organisational strategy
Manage workforce and operational impacts of AI adoption
Implement risk management and compliance processes
Monitor performance and adapt AI systems as needed
Communicate AI risks and opportunities to stakeholders

To be eligible, learners must be aged 19+ and in full-time employment. Individuals currently undertaking an apprenticeship cannot enrol on Apprenticeship Units. Funding may be available through Apprenticeship Levy or government funding,
