Apprentice Coaching and Mentoring Workshop

Course overview

This workshop is only available to those organisations who have recruited a PETA apprentice.

This workshop is designed for anyone supporting a PETA apprentice, equipping coaches and mentors with the skills and confidence to support apprentices effectively throughout their apprenticeship.

• Introduction to apprenticeships, including what they involve and the benefits they offer.
• The role of the workplace coach and mentor, including the difference between coaching and mentoring and how the relationship works.
• Responsibilities, skills, and qualities of an effective workplace coach and mentor.
• Using the GROW model for business coaching and understanding how people learn.
• Supporting apprentices in the workplace, including inductions and ongoing development.
• Working with PETA Limited, including training plans, the assessment process, and progress reviews.
• Reviewing, recording, and evidencing progress, including providing witness testimonies.

Companies are eligible for one free place per year for this course when recruiting a PETA apprentice.
