What led you to work for PETA?

After working in the insurance industry for several years I went to University as a mature student to get a degree. After achieving a BSc. in Information Technology I moved into training, later gaining a PGCE in Further Education.

What is your role at PETA and what drives you to do what you do?

I am the Corporate IT Trainer and I also have a number of Digital Marketing apprentices that I mentor.

What knowledge and experience do you draw upon for your role?

Working in the Insurance industry has made me very detail driven and my keenness to talk to people.

How do you approach your role on a day-to-day basis? What skills are required?

The main skill needed for both teaching and coaching are great listening skills.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Sewing and dog showing.  I have 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Mini Wirehaired Dachshund that have been shown at Crufts.

I have a passion for empowering others with the knowledge and skills to navigate the world of office productivity.
