This is an exciting position to become an expert welder, learning to manufacture high quality hospital equipment and furniture, using the latest advances in materials and technology.

Duties will include:

  • You will be trained to weld a range of materials using a variety of welding equipment (MIG/TIG)
  • This will include learning how to set up the correct power (parameter) settings, select the consumable and follow a Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) to weld different joint types.
  • Your aim over time will be to achieve a high-quality weld that will pass surface and internal visual inspection to International Standards.
  • The parts will be a range of welds to specified standards.
  • Produce products to a high degree of accuracy and finish, ensuring Anetic Aids quality standards are achieved.
  • Attend PETA and complete coursework on time and to the required standard.
  • Become competent reading and interpreting drawings, data and documentation used to produce machined components

  • You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, determined and hardworking and prepared to constantly learn and develop new skills with an interest in engineering.

Qualifications required:

  • 4 GCSEs or acceptable equivalent as follows:
  • Maths Grade C (4) or above
  • English and a Science subject Grade A - C (9-4)
  • An additional GCSE Grade A – C (9-4)
