An exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast paced and growing Accountancy firm based in central Fareham.
Having employed Apprentices for the past few years, HelpBox has identified the impact on business growth that the Apprentices have made. Along with the opportunity for each apprentice to learn and grow within the organization, they have also supported the future training needs of each individual moving forward to train and study further in developing areas of accountancy.
They are now looking for an individual who is keen to complete a Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice and ideally pursue further accountancy based qualifications once the Apprenticeship programme has been completed.

Helpbox are trusted accountants based in Fareham who supply accountancy services to local small business owners in the Fareham area. These businesses include Self - Employed, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Company Directors.
With the support from the Administration team, their valued team members who hold a variety of accountancy qualifications and deliver high quality and consistent advice to businesses in and around the local area.

Duties will include:

You will provide administrative support to the Company Director, Office Manager and other office colleagues. Within this role you will learn about different aspects of accountancy and taxation as you progress such as filing obligations for businesses and individuals.

You will be expected to complete the Level 3 qualification within the advised timeframe as part of your Apprenticeship.

Opportunities for candidates can also include additional courses and training both in-house and externally enabling progression within the business.

The main areas of the role include:-

  • Administration duties
  • General office duties
  • Preparing reports
  • Dealing with the internal client management system
  • Working to deadlines for client data gathering
  • Data management
  • Electronic filing
  • Paper filing
  • Scanning

Other information:

During the 15 months of the Apprenticeship programme you will be working towards achieving the Level 3 Business Administration Standard

Skills required:

  • Must have excellent IT skills and the confidence to take on and use new systems
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to follow and carry out simple instructions
  • Able to interact well with people and work as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and to agreed time scales

Qualifications required:
