Due to business growth, we are looking for a full-time Client Services Assistant to join our fast-paced Head Office based in Waterlooville. This Apprenticeship will give you the foundations you need to start a career in the financial sector.

Duties will include:

To assist with the administration of the Client Services Team, ensure all client portfolios are up to date ahead of their meetings and that their annual reviews are booked in and recorded.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Process all appointments booked by Client Services team.
  • Outbound client contact with existing/new clients.
  • Sending letters to clients regarding policies, reviews etc.
  • Preparing and updating portfolio valuations for individual clients.
  • Liaising with advisers as well as providers to obtain information.
  • To ensure daily objectives, call targets and appointment targets are met.
  • Diary management.
  • Confidently take any incoming calls from clients and providers and handle their queries.

Other information:

During your first 15 months you will be working to achieve:

  • Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard at Level 3

Skills required:

  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to use Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel

Personal qualities:

  • Positive Attitude
  • An enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Able to prioritise own workload and use own initiative
  • Have a professional attitude and attire

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) qualification in Maths and English at grades A*-C or 4-9 is desirable


  • 20 days paid holiday and 8 statutory days holiday.
