Our Project Administrator will help with all aspects of office administration from dealing with customer enquiries, helping to price projects, placing orders with suppliers and issuing handover documentation to clients. You will be part of a fast-paced team who pride themselves on the quality of their work and excellent reputation for installing fire doors at UK airports and other major construction projects.

Ahmarra Door Installations Ltd (ADIL) are experts in specialist fire door installation. Operating predominantly in the south east, they cover a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects including; Heathrow & Gatwick Airports, commercial office, school & residential developments and tower blocks. We provide a full project management service and fully certified installation service through the Q-Mark Fire Door Installation Scheme. ADIL form part of the Ahmarra group which includes a fire door production facility in Farlington, Portsmouth.

Duties will include:

You will learn all aspects of the enquiry, estimating, sales, design, setting out, project management, installation and surveying process.

  • Deal with customer enquiries and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Report directly to the Commercial Director and Project Director, supporting them with general adminstration duties and project specific tasks.
  • Formulate estimates for customers on Microsoft excel and our in-house pricing system

Other information:

  • The company uses Microsoft Excel templates which requires accurate data input and acute attention to detail.  Microsoft Outlook/Office is also used on a daily basis, so possessing good knowledge is essential.
  • The Apprentice will learn all about the construction industry and all aspects of project management from enquiry receipt through to order.

  • GCSE grade A – C (9-4) in Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • 100% of our apprentices have been offered a full-time position on successful completion of their apprenticeship and have continued with further training/qualifications, promotion, wage increases and more responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will obtain their CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, allowing induction and entrance onto construction sites.
  • Progression can include project management or estimating roles within the company, and management positions are attainable for the right person in the future.
  • Transferable skills within the construction industry. The apprentice will learn all about the construction industry and all aspects of project management from enquiry receipt through to order.
