You will be working within a very busy and varied Operations team. Supporting the general technical admin, technical sales and engineer dispatch. The ideal candidate will be very admin focused and determined to progress in an office environment.

Matrix specialise in providing IT Support services to small and medium businesses. We provide a comprehensive range of services which include:

  • Designing, supplying and installing computer systems and networks
  • Technical projects and consultancy
  • Investigation, diagnosing and resolving problems with customers IT systems.

We work with companies in Portsmouth, Fareham, and Southampton and across the Hampshire region. Our experience and knowledge of computer services and IT solutions in Hampshire, support businesses to move forward. We work closely with our clients to provide an excellent support service.

Duties will include:

  • Follow company process for Goods in/out ensuring stock levels are correct. Work with dispatcher to ensure all items are assigned for dispatch.
  • Draft agreements for approval by Sales Director and prepare for sales meetings
  • Following completion of projects ensure all agreements match new services
  • Matching supplier invoices to customer invoices
  • Configure systems to meet customer need
  • Obtain best prices from suppliers for items quoted from preferred suppliers
  • Producing quotes on Quosal
  • Monitor order porter for quote acceptance
  • Check availability of better connectivity services and packages for existing clients
  • Quoting VoIP and connectivity packages
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and provide relevant management information
  • Blogging on behalf of the Company
  • Creating website content
  • Managing website content (releasing and testing website updates)
  • SEO
  • Matrix’s social media presence
  • Proactive digital marketing campaigns (email, social media etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining targeted contact lists

Other information:

The company is located at a remote industrial estate with minimal public transport.

Skills required:

  • Good numerical and literacy skills and good levels of computer literacy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Good analytical/problem solving skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learn
  • To possess initiative with an inquisitive nature, unafraid to ask appropriate questions

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths, English and ICT Grade C/4 or above or equivalents
