Working as part of a small dedicated team to efficiently and responsively co-ordinate and carry out various sales and business administration tasks.

To assist all sales activities of outdoor and technical fabrics and services in accordance with agreed business plans and sales targets. Support the sales force to help the team achieve their objectives.

To provide consistently exceptional levels of service, commitment and quality to all customers, both internal and external.

To demonstrate the companies Vision, Mission and Values in all aspects of this role, both internally and externally.

Kayospruce have been established for 28 years and are now the first phone call for many industries that require outdoor and technical fabrics. The company was founded on, and indeed still operates under a simple promise “To provide the latest fabric and hardware with a next day delivery and no minimum order values”. After 28 years of growth they are still offering this service with a large amount of customers taking advantage of their high levels of customer care and knowledge.

Duties will include:

  • Taking orders on paper order forms for sales team.
  • When fully trained will be required to book orders on in-house ERP system, during busy periods.
  • Assisting Sales team with shipping quotes, associated paperwork and address labels.
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks required during day to day office activity and necessary to support sales teams.
  • Provide cover to the samples department while Sampling assistant is on maternity leave between October 2018 and April 2019
  • Taking sample requests and preparing samples for dispatch
  • Record all details of sample requests and pass on all new customer details to marketing
  • Keeping all samples up to date including ordering from suppliers and monitoring stock of samples prepared in-house.
  • Collating samples ahead of exhibitions and sales client visits.

Other information:

  • This is a 15 month Apprenticeship programme 
  • Level 3 Standard in Business Administration

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE English Grade C and above or equivalent.
  • GCSE ICT Grade C and above or equivalent.
